Ashley Fox, CEO and Founder of Ampify and the Wealthbuilders Community App, was a guest on the latest episode of Nareit’s REIT Report podcast. She spoke about the efforts Ampify makes to educate individuals with limited funds and investment experience, enabling them to build a financial foundation and begin accumulating wealth.
Fox left her career on Wall Street in 2013 to work “to financially empower the 99% of people that Wall Street often ignores.” She founded Ampify with the goal of becoming an intermediary between financial institutions and ordinary people, “because I understood the language of Wall Street, but I also understood the language of the hearts and minds of both adults and children, and Ampify bridges that gap.”
Ampify has launched more than 10,000 new investors, Fox said, adding that members of the Wealthbuilders Community app have invested more than $650,000 in REITs. He said one of the key takeaways from Ampify’s five-week REIT Investing Accelerator program is the extent to which REIT-owned properties have become an integral part of investors’ everyday lives.
