Amwins Group Inc said Tuesday it will team up with flood technology company Floodbase to offer a “tees-to-green” flood insurance program designed to cover damage and repair costs when flooding occurs at U.S. golf courses.
The minimum premium is $65,000 and the average range is $1 million to $7 million, according to an email from an Amwins spokesperson.
The program also provides a parametric coverage structure.
According to product information, the initial target is golf courses in California, with plans to expand to other states soon.
