Specialist insurer Mosaic Insurance Holdings Ltd. said Thursday it will offer $15 million in primary professional liability coverage targeted at risks unique to specialist engineers.
The new form offers dedicated core business liability coverage with enhancements such as pollution, public relations costs and mitigation.
This form is designed for specialists serving a range of industries including process, chemical, oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, nuclear, renewable energy, testing, defence, transportation and environmental; Providing engineering and consulting, design and construction, project management, coordination and scheduling, program management, or logistics services, Mosaic said in a statement.
From multinational companies to individuals working on a freelance project basis, risks of all sizes will be considered and coverage will be offered to clients around the world.
The statement said the precincts will preferably be deployed in the primary lead position, but additional placements will also be considered.
Hamilton, Bermuda-based Mosaic also offers coverage for transaction liability, cyber, political risk, political violence, environmental liability, financial institutions and environmental liability, its statement said.
